Construction Work Neighborly Meetings
Dialogue between residents and construction companies undertaking large projects in Zamalek, by setting up neighborly meetings.
The Association strives to open a dialogue between residents and construction companies undertaking large projects in Zamalek, by setting up neighborly meetings with concerned parties. The intention behind these meetings is for entities undertaking construction work in Zamalek to address the community and inform residents about their plans, how long their construction work will take, what neighbors should expect during construction period, what their working hours are, and what the final outcome is expected to be.
The Association organized two such meetings. The first was between residents and H.E. the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Egypt, in which the Embassy’s remodeling plans and how it was going to affect neighbors were discussed. The second was between residents and Key Developments to discuss the company’s plans to complete the unfinished building in 5 Hassan Sabry Street. Both meetings were a success, and the Association hopes they will set a good precedent for others.
