Lewa Yassin Abdel Bary, President of the District, and his 4 assistants came to the ZA office to listen to some of our concerns and proposed solutions regarding the garbage problems and trees condition in Zamalek.

The Association is currently in discussions with the Ministry of Environment to help find long-term solutions.
The Association has been working with the District with the aim of improving the health of Zamalek trees and rehabilitating some of Zamalek’s public gardens.
In cooperation with the District, the Association is looking into fixing broken sidewalks in Zamalek. The current pilot project focuses on 3 locations on 26 July Street.
The Association used funds from its first Taste of Zamalek to refurbish the Aquarium Grotto Garden (Fish Garden).
